Telephone Number Outbound Regional Caller ID Set Up
This feature is utilized for outbound calls when you want a specific phone number ID to be shown to the caller, based on specific regions you are calling.
For instance, you are making a call to a customer in Quebec in area code 514 and you want the caller to see your Quebec phone number: 514-447-8947, even though you are calling from a different number.

From the TN TAB in NEWTCF, click on the Pencil Icon at the end of targeted Telephone Number being used for outbound calls.
Navigate to the Regional CallerID Tab.
Click the Add + Button to add your desired CALLER ID based on a region area code your users are calling, from this number.
In the example above, when your extension is set to using this TN (514-447-8967):
Calls you make to a 519 area code, will appear to the person receiving the call as 519-489-6700.
Calls you make to a 514 area code, will appear to the person receiving the call as 514-447-8947.
However, you can further distinguish this by entering more of the number being called. In the example above, calls you make to 514-907 numbers, will display your 514-447-8967.
Any calls made that don’t have an area code entered here, will use the default caller ID.
Note that the users extension must be set to using this TN for outbounds, in order for this to work.
