NEWT MOBILE - SMS Texting

With the purchase of the NEWT Mobile app, this premium feature can be added to support inbound and outbound SMS Texting across North America.

A phone number will be added to your extension, specifically for this purpose and your Outbound ID will reflect this number.

NEWT Mobile App - iOS Instructions

1. Tap the Messages Icon at the bottom of the app:

2. Tap the New Message Icon

3. Enter the phone number in the To: field or tap the + button to select a contact from your synced mobile address book.

4. Type your message in the bottom line and tap the paper airplane icon beside it, to send.

NEWT MOBILE App - Android Instructions

1. Open a conversation in the Messages  tab.

2. Tap the text field to bring up the keyboard, and then type the message.

3. Touch Send  after entering messages.

4. The conversation area displays the new message, and a checkmark indicates the message sent.

Note that SMS Text Messaging is supported to Canada & US external numbers, and Excludes:

• Numbers in high-cost regions of NU, YT, NT, HI, AK & VI = Restricted

• International Numbers = Restricted
