NEWT DESKTOP - Voicemail

Your NEWT extension may already have been pre-set by your company’s administrator for a voicemail password and (optionally) voicemail to email.

For Intial Voicemail Set Up on your NEWT Desktop App:

1. Dial *98 to enter the voicemail system.

2. You may be prompted to enter your voicemail password. The temporary password is usually your extension number.

3. You will be prompted to enter a new password. Please choose a new 4 digit password.

   Re-entering your extension number will not be accepted.

4. Follow the menu option prompts to update your greeting recording.

*Note 1: If your desktop app is unified to your main phone, please enter the password of your main device to access voicemails.

*Note 2: If your extension is using a shared mailbox, please enter the password of the shared mailbox to access it's voicemails.

To Listen to Voicemails:

1. On the keypad there is an icon  and count indicating how many voicemails you have. If you do not see the icon, this means you don't have any voicemails yet.

2. Tap the icon to access your voicemail or, if the icon is not there, dial *98.
