Setting up User Access to NEWTCF
The initial customer administrator access is set up by NEWT or your NEWT Reseller. Once done, this person can now utilize the User Admin Tab in NEWTCF to provide various types of access to other employees.
The system utilizes 2FA (Two Factor Authentication) to allow users to sign in from anywhere (without the need of being connected to the PBX on premise or utilizing VPN access). Credentials will automatically be sent to the users email address. Once they attempt to sign in, the 2FA window will pop up. 2FA code will be sent to the users email address, or if you have added their text enabled mobile phone number, it will be sent there.

Once you have been granted administrator access, you can add end users to manage their extensions (including call recordings if desired) other administrators or ACD user profiles.
To add a user:
Click on the Add Button
Select the Type – End User, ACD Admin, ACD Monitor, Administrator (PBX).
If shown, select the Extension this user is on.
Enter their full name.
Enter their email address.
Enter their text enabled mobile phone number to receive the 2FA access code. If you want the 2FA codes to go to the users email address, leave the SMS Phone Number blank.
The Username field will autofill.
Call Recording Tab – toggle this on if you want the user to access their call recordings.
ACD Tab - toggle this on for AGENTS requiring the ACD console (if ACD was purchased).
Click the Add (user) button.
Once you click ‘add’, it will trigger an email to the user with the PBX’s NEWTCF interface link and their unique username with an additional link for their password credentials. Please inform the user that they will need to capture and save the password that is revealed in the password link for future log in access!
