  • Firmware Core: 1.0.11.45

  • Firmware Base: 1.0.11.46

  • Power Adapter

  • USB-A Bluetooth Adapter (Dongle)

Steps

  1. Start by charging the Headset

  2. Plug in the USB-A Bluetooth adapter into the USB port on the back of the GXP2170

  3. Reboot the phone:

    • Remove the Ethernet cable from the LAN port OR unplug the power cable (if phone is powered by AC)

    • Wait 2-3 minutes

    • Reconnect the Ethernet or power cable

    • Allow the phone to fully reboot.

  4. Enable Bluetooth and scan for devices

    • Press the Menu Button (after reboot)

    • Navigate to System->Bluetooth

    • Scroll down to find and select Start Scan

  5. Power on your Poly Voyager B5200 headset

    • On the mouthpiece (behind the boom arm), press and hold the pairing button until the LED blinks red and blue (hold for about 5 seconds).

    • On the phone screen, you may see: “Pair Requested From: Poly V5300 Series” → If you do not see this, select Rescan and try again.

    • If you see Poly V5200 Series – Unpaired” → Select Pair and then dismiss the PIN request.

  6. You should now be connected and ready to use your headset.
