Call Groups are used to ring everyone in a particular department. This is often used in scenario’s where call volumes are lower than (or equal to) the number of staff on hand. You can assign extensions to a Call Group to receive incoming calls. The field filled out with a "3" in this screenshot will indicate which group the extension is assigned to. An extension can only be included in one group at a time.

Extensions can be set up to ring simultaneously or in sequence with time-of-day scheduling and set where the call should go, if no one answers, using our advanced virtual extension call flow settings.
Step-by-step setup instructions for administrators can be found in the Call Group Set Up guide.
