Place a Call

To place a call, do one of the following:

  1. Pick up the handset and press the  key,  key, or the New Call softkey. Then, enter the phone number and press the Send softkey

  2. Enter the phone number and press the Dial softkey. Then, pick up the handset, and press  for speakerphone or  for headset

  3. Navigate to Directories and select Call Lists. From the Calls List screen, select a contact and select Dial

Redial a Number

Your phone automatically keeps a record of all calls placed. You can recall the last contact you called using Redial.

  • Select Menu > Redial

Answer a Call

To answer a call using the handset, speakerphone, or a headset, do one of the following:

  1. Pick up the handset, then press the Answer softkey

  2. Press the Speakerphone key

  3. Press the Headset key

Answer a Call when in a Call

When you’re in an active call and an incoming call arrives, a call waiting tone beeps and the Incoming Call screen displays.

  • Select Answer. The active call goes on hold, and the incoming call becomes active

End a Call

To end a call, do one of the following:

  1. Press the End Call softkey

  2. Replace the handset in the cradle

  3. Press the Speakerphone key

  4. Press the Headset key

Ignore or Reject an Incoming Call

When you ignore or reject a call, the incoming call notification continues to display. From the Incoming Call screen, do one of the following:

  1. Select Ignore

  2. Select Reject

Do Not Disturb

Use DND to prevent your phone from ringing and to send all incoming calls to voicemail:

  • Press the DND softkey

Forward a Call

  • On the Incoming Call screen, press the Forward softkey

  • Enter the number to forward the call to

  • Press the Forward softkey

Forward All Incoming Calls to a Contact

  • Select Forward or go to Settings > Features > Forward

  • On the Forwarding Type Select screen, select a forwarding type

  • Enter a contact's number and select Enable

  • The forwarding number or name of the contact you chose scrolls in the status bar. If you select Always as your forwarding option, the Forwarding icon displays

Disable Call Forwarding

  • Select Forward or go to Settings > Features > Forward

  • If your phone has multiple lines, select a line

  • From the Forwarding Type Select screen, select your forwarding type, and select Disable

Blind Transfer a Call

While on an active call, transfer the call to another extension by pressing More, Bld Xfr, the extension number, and Enter.

Alternatively, while on an active call, transfer the call to another extension by pressing *7, followed immediately by the extension number.

Attended Transfer a Call

While on an active call, transfer the call to another extension by pressing More, Att Xfr, the 3-digit extension number, and Enter. If the intended recipient accepts the call, hang up the receiver to complete the transfer. If the intended recipient rejects the call and hangs up, stay on the line to be reconnected with the caller.

Alternatively, while on an active call, transfer the call to another extension by pressing *6, followed immediately by the extension number. If the intended recipient accepts the call, hang up the receiver to complete the transfer. If the intended recipient rejects the call and hangs up, stay on the line to be reconnected with the caller.

Transfer to an External Number

While on an active call, press More, More, and Transfer, enter the external number, and press Send. If the intended recipient accepts the call, hang up the receiver to complete the transfer. If they do not want to take call, they can hang up and you will need to press the Resume soft key or the line key to reconnect with the caller.

Place an Intercom Call

You can place an intercom call from your phone to quickly relay a message to a contact.

  • Select Intercom

  • Enter the extension number or select a contact

  • Select Dial. The phone plays a tone and the contact's phone answers the call automatically

  • After your contact answers the call, speak your message and select End Call

Voicemail

To access your voicemail, do one of the following:

  1. From your handset: Dial *98

  2. From a Different Extension: Enter 21xxx (xxx being your extension) followed by the Dial soft key

  3. Press the home button

    • Navigate to and select messages

    • Press the Select softkey

    • Press the connect softkey

Note that the voicemail prompter will ask you for your password. Your password is defaulted to your extension number and must be changed upon first login, to a passcode other than your extension number.

Pair a Bluetooth Device

You can pair multiple Bluetooth devices to your phone, but only one device will connect at a time.

  • Go to Menu > Bluetooth

  • Go to Settings > Basic > Bluetooth Settings

  • Select Manage Devices

  • Select Scan

  • Select your device from the list

  • Select Pair

If required for your device, do the following:

  • Verify that the Bluetooth pairing code matches on your phone and your device

  • Select Pair on your device

  • Select Accept on your phone.

If required for your specific device, there may be additional steps provided in the device user guide. Please review the device user guide prior to attempting to pair the device with your phone.

Disconnect or Unpair a Connected Bluetooth Device

Disconnect a Bluetooth device when you no longer need to use it. Unpair the device so it's no longer in the Bluetooth menu.

  • Go to Menu > Bluetooth

  • Go to Settings > Basic > Bluetooth Settings

  • Select Manage Devices

  • Select your connected device from the Connected Devices screen

  • Select Disconnect or Remove
