Never miss calls. In the event of a power outage or other scenarios that may take you offline, the NEWT solution will automatically detect and re-route inbound calls to other office locations, customer-specified cellphones or an external telephone number.
To set this up on the extension:
Log into your NEWTCF environment
Navigate to the Extension Settings tab (admins will first see a full list of all extensions; click on the pencil icon at the end of the extension line item to get to that extension's settings)
In the Offline Phone Number field, enter the telephone number to send calls to, in the event of an offline scenario
Click save before you exit
