Moves, Adds and Changes
MAC assistance for existing customers

MAC is an acronym for Move, Add, Change. MAC requests involve changes to a current customer’s Account and Services. MAC requests are billable based on the requested task for the time and expense incurred for completion of the request.

Moves

Regardless of your PBX instance being in the cloud, or on-premise, if you or any of your remote workers are moving locations, it’s important to notify us as early as possible. Things that will be affected by a move include 911 dispatch, account billing, local or LD calling charges, internet services and hardware configurations to name a few. To submit a move notification please download the NEWT Move Request Form from the NEWT portal. Fill it out and return it to newtmac@fibernetics.ca.

Adds

Additions can include NEWT Products (internet, fax, door ringers, speakers etc.), phones and extensions, PBX premium features (i.e.: call recording), or onsite work requests. Please contact your NEWT provider or NEWT Sales Representative at 1-888-996-6398 for assistance.

Changes

Changes to existing PBX configurations or hardware and cancellations of some or all of the products in your portfolio, can be submitted to newtmac@fibernetics.ca. Please note that cancellations may incur additional fees (over and above MAC fees) based on your contract.

Each new inquiry submitted to this email address will produce an autoreply with a unique ticket number. To prevent multiple tickets being created for the same request, please REPLY to the email and maintain the email thread, keeping the original subject line intact.
