A conference bridge is a form of remote meeting using your NEWT Business Phone system. Conference bridges allow employees to dial into virtual meetings from a phone.
Our Conference Bridge provides moderator/participant features including; listen only, leader role, mute/unmute of participants on a call.
If a conference bridge has been set up for you by your administrator, you will be given a phone number (or menu option on the auto attendant) for participants to call in. Internally you can access the conference bridge by dialing 88001.
You will also be given the following codes:
a general pin (4-digit code for users to enter the conference)
a leader pin (4-digit code for the host to start the conference)
a mute pin (4-digit code for the host to use, to mute or unmute attendees)
